Class 7th boy lost his life in illigal stone quarry blasting

on 10/04/24 4:30 pm 12 years boy of class 7 son of salvin nag and jharana nag of Village marichamal of Damanjodi district koraput lost his life because of illigal stone mining near the village.without permission stone quary owners conduct blasts with explosives which are banned and illigal.when these blasts are conducted no preliminary measures are taken or signals are given to public as it is only 50 metres distance to state highway 26. the boy was on the bridge near the village with his friends at evening 4:30 pm when this unfortunate incident occurred.now police from semliguda town police and Damanjodi model police station are investigating the case and the body has been sent for postmortem.villagers have blocked semliguda and Damanjodi road until illigal blasting in quary is banned
