BharatGPT, India’s Indigenous Generative AI Platform

India is developing its own generative AI platform called BharatGPT, a collaborative effort between the IITs and Jio. Unlike most AI chatbots that primarily focus on English, BharatGPT will be adept at handling conversations in over 14 Indian languages. This culturally aware platform will adhere to Indian data privacy regulations.
