Green Punjab gets yellow alert as mercury crosses 47°C, Least chance to rain till June 18

The state government has issued an alert of the heatwave in the 21 out of 23 districts in Punjab as the mercury touches 47.8° Celcius in some places. The government has also issued an advisory for the general public, to avoid to be out in the Sun, unless it is extremely necessary. There seems to be no chance of rains till June 18.
