The utmost admission fee made students disgruntled

Currently, enrolment in plus two admission are going in the state. Students are now applying for enrolment in various higher secondary schools. In this regard, the different aided Higher secondary schools have fixed their admission fee. The higher secondary schools like Rushikulya Higher secondary school and PCM women's higher secondary school functioning in Surada under ganjam have fixed their admission fee. The students are selected in the above secondary schools have to deposite more than 5000 rupees. The above higher secondary schools are charging an average of Rs 5,000 per students for new enrolment. In government higher secondary schools this amount is limited to between 1000 to 2000 while in aided higher secondary schools the amount is above 5000. Earlier these colleges were deprived from govt. grant so this money was collected in the name of development which includes building fees, college faculty fee including guest lecturer fee and the other aided lecturer were getting DA from it, but now the state government has given crores of rupees to all the colleges in the name of development, Even the salaries of the teachers have been increased. A teacher who was getting 10,000 to 20,000 is now getting around 80,000 rupees per month. In such a situation, there is dissatisfaction in the minds of the parents about charging more than 5 thousand rupees in the name of admission from the students. from this amount the students are being given an identity card, a uniform and a school bag, which is also alleged to be of low quality. There is no concession even for SC and ST students In Surada, students coming from the suburbs region are worried about the high fees. A student is feeling burdened with so much money just for the arts department course. In the first year, an average of more than 5 thousand rupees is charged, while again, for the second year, around 4 thousand rupees have to be paid. A student has to pay around Rs.10,000 just for the admission fee for the arts courses. On the other hand, the current government has allocated only 1000 to 1200 rupees in various government upgraded high schools. On the one hand, the enrolment in government colleges is being done at such a low cost, and on the other hand the aided colleges are charging so much money, the fee differentiate issue have vexed the parents who are interested to enrol their students in the aided colleges. Even the parents are too much disgruntled about the utmost admission fee fixed by the higher secondary schools functioning in Surada. The parents in their opinion that the state govt has to take some initiative to resolve the admission fee issue in the above higher secondary schools.
