Man Arrested for Daylight Murder in Imphal East Manipur; Further Raids Underway
Manipur NewsImphal, February 10, 2025 – In a swift operation, the Imphal East Police arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with the brutal daylight murder of a youth in Moirang Kampu. Acting on intelligence from a vigilant citizen, police teams conducted raids and apprehended Thangjam Thoungamba Meitei, son of Th. Sunil Meitei, from Tiger Camp village, Sagolmang, Imphal East. Authorities confirmed that he was directly involved in the cold-blooded killing of 19-year-old Laishram Malemnganba Meitei of Moirang Kampu, which occurred earlier in the day. Further raids are underway to arrest other suspects linked to the case. Police have assured continued efforts to bring all perpetrators to justice.
