Brief Report on State-Level Bru Boisu Celebration

The State-Level Bru Boisu Festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Zomuantlang, Mamit District, on April 14 and 15, 2025. The event was organized by the Mizoram Bru Arts and Culture Organisation (MBACO) to promote and preserve Bru cultural heritage.

Key dignitaries present included Mr. Lalthansanga, Minister of Forest and Fisheries, and Mr. Kenneth Changliana, Vice Chairman of the Mizoram State Planning Board. Both leaders appreciated the vibrant cultural traditions of the Bru community and emphasized the importance of cultural unity and preservation.

The celebration featured traditional Bru dances, music, and food, drawing large participation from the local community. The event successfully highlighted the rich cultural identity of the Bru people and fostered communal harmony.
