The District Industries Centre (DIC) Kargil organized an awareness camp on the PM Vishwakarma Scheme at Dak Bungalow, Drass. Representatives from J&K Bank and the Rural Development Department attended the event, which saw active participation from a large number of skilled individuals, both male and female.

Officials interacted personally with each skilled participant, assuring them of full support under the scheme. They emphasized assistance through collateral-free loans, skill training, toolkit support, digital empowerment, and marketing and export linkages to boost micro-industries at the village level.

The camp aimed to empower traditional artisans and help them grow sustainably under the PM Vishwakarma initiative.
