Synergetic Green Warriors Foundation Observes Mourning for Pulwama Attack Victims; Condemns Attack on Innocent Tourists in Kashmir



Jammu, April 23, 2025 — In a deeply moving tribute, the Synergetic Green Warriors Foundation held a solemn ceremony at its headquarters to mourn the tragic loss of lives in the recent terror attack on tourists in Pulwama, Kashmir. The attack, which targeted innocent civilians on a peaceful tour, has shaken the conscience of the nation.

As a mark of respect and solidarity with the bereaved families, a five-minute silence was observed under the leadership of Ms. Reeta Verma, National President of the Foundation. Joining her in the observance were Mr. Makhnai Verma, General Secretary, Manu Kotwal, and Dr. Sonia Verma, Director/CEO, along with Foundation staff, volunteers, and well-wishers.

In her address, Ms. Reeta Verma stated, "Such cowardly and inhuman acts are an attack on the very spirit of Bharat – a land that embraces peace, compassion, and unity in diversity. The Synergetic Green Warriors Foundation condemns this brutality in the strongest terms and stands in solidarity with the victims and their families."
Dr. Sonia Verma added, "Terrorism in any form is unacceptable. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those who lost their lives and to the families who now suffer unimaginable grief. We urge the authorities to take strict action and ensure justice is served swiftly."
Mr. Makhnai Verma emphasized the role of civil society in fostering peace, saying,
"Let us unite to promote dialogue, understanding, and harmony, so that the seeds of hate are never allowed to take root in our communities."
The Foundation reiterated its commitment not only to environmental protection and sustainable development but also to national unity and social harmony. In times like these, the organization believes that empathy, courage, and resilience are the true hallmarks of a strong nation.
A condolence message book was also opened at the Foundation’s headquarters, where visitors penned heartfelt tributes and messages of peace. The Foundation plans to send this compilation to the families of the victims as a gesture of collective mourning and support.
