District level preparatory meeting organized for 148th Sitalsasthi at Barpali

A preparatory meeting of district level officers and people's representatives and all members of the committee was held at the Barpali Block Conference Hall, under the chairmanship of Barpali Tahasildar Rukman Meher, to organize the great mythological 148th Sitalsasthi Yatra Festival. The meeting was attended by Bijepur MLA Shri Sanat Kumar Gadatiya, Barpali Block Chairman Reena Thait, Bargarh Sub Collector Prasanna Kumar Pandey, SDPO Padarvinda Tripathi, NAC Executive Officer Bhuvan Kumar Shatapathy, NAC Chairman Dinesh Gahir, MP Representative Padmalochana Sahu, Barpali Block BDO Sumanta Kumbar, Assitant Block Education Officer Ratan Kumar Bhoi, while officials from the Health Department, Water Resources Department, Fire Department, Electricity Department, and Police Department were present. The district-level preparatory meeting for the organization of the 148th Barpali Sital Sashti Yatra was held. Barpali Sital Sashti Yatra Festival Committee President Ananda Babu, Editor Jayant Tripathi, Senior Member Pinaki Dash, Himadri Nagar Parvati Vivah Utsav Committee President, various institutions of Barpali The President and secretary were present and various important issues were discussed regarding the proper management of the Winter Shasthi Yatra Mahotsav and various problems like widening of roads causing obstacles during the journey, cleaning of roads and drains, removal of encroached climbing shops, drinking water and electricity problems during the journey.
