
Invitation process for famous Baisakh mela continues
The invitation process for the famous Baisakh Mela of Shri Shri Nrusinghanath Temple in Bargarh district is continuing. Various people have been invited to make this festival, which will be held from the 7th to the 12th, more people-oriented. Under the supervision of Bargarh MP Pradeep Purohit, Executive Officer of Nrusinghanath Temple Trust Board Purushottam Padhan, Baisakh Mela Committee Member Sanjiv Majhi went to Bhubaneswar and met Union Housing and Urban Development Minister Tokhan Sahu at Hotel Mayfair and invited him to the Baisakh Mela. On this occasion, Shri Nrusimhanath and various aspects of Baisakh Mela were discussed. Similarly, Odisha Revenue Minister Suresh Pujahari, State Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhushan Jena, Panchayati Raj Minister Ravi Narayan Naik, Forest and Environment Minister Ganesh Ram Singh Khuntia, State Development Department Commissioner Anu Garg, Puri Jagannath Temple Chief Administrator Arvind Padhi, State Labour Department Commissioner Indramani Tripathi and various ministers, senior officers of various departments were invited for the Baisakh Mela. It is worth noting that since ancient times, devotees have been waiting for the Baisakh Mela, which is being held every year. The greatness of this holy place attracts devotees for faith and devotion. This year too, lakhs of devotees will gather from Odisha, Chhattisgarh and various states. Therefore, people from different walks of life are being invited this year to further promote this festival of devotion. Therefore, it is reported that extensive preparations are underway by the Mela Committee.
