VKV Ziro Launches Celebrations with Mass Tree Plantation Drive on World Environment Day

The VKV Ziro Silver Jubilee Celebration Committee, in collaboration with the Divisional Forest Office, Lower Subansiri District, launched its 25th anniversary celebrations with a mass tree plantation drive on June 5, World Environment Day. Held at VKV Ziro (Tadu Dobi), the event echoed this year’s global theme, “Our Land, Our Future,” emphasizing environmental stewardship and sustainability. Students, staff, forest officials, and community members participated actively, marking a meaningful start to the jubilee year.
