Air India Boeing 787 crash in Ahmedabad:
The Dreamliner Flight 171 crashed shortly after takeoff on June 12 into a college hostel in Ahmedabad. Out of 242 occupants, 241 people onboard died, along with many on the ground—total fatalities now near 279, with only one survivor, Vishwash Ramesh .
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation has ordered inspections of all Boeing 787s operated by Indian airlines .
