Gyani Harvinder Singh Jamshedpuri urges to follow the hukamnama of AKAAL TAKHAT SAHIB to all kolhan Gurudwaras.

July 24 – A powerful wave of Panthic consciousness is sweeping through Kolhan as Sikh preacher and thinker Gyani Harvinder Singh Jamshedpuri made a strong appeal to the Central Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (CGPC) to implement Sri Akal Takht Sahib’s latest Hukamnama across all 34 Gurudwaras in the Kolhan region.

The Hukamnama, issued by Jathedar Gyani Kuldeep Singh Gadjaj, mandates that all Gurudwara management members must become Amritdhari Sikhs by September 1, 2025. Those failing to comply will face immediate termination of committee membership.

🗣️ Gyani Jamshedpuri emphasized:

“This is a historic step to revive Sikh discipline and identity. The order is not just religious but a matter of social and community responsibility. All Gurudwaras must follow it without compromise.”

He also urged CGPC President Sardar Bhagwan Singh to formally adopt and circulate the directive, ensuring complete enforcement. Gyani Jamshedpuri offered support to help all Gurudwara heads become Amritdhari and spiritually lead by example.

💬 He warned against the growing influence of modern fashion and Westernized trends in Sikh youth, stating:

“Sikh Rehit Maryada must be upheld. Turbaned Sikhs must appear in their natural Keshdhari form. The drift from our roots is deeply alarming.”

Although the order was originally issued for the Delhi jurisdiction, its universal nature and Panthic relevance mean it applies to Takht Sahib and Gurdwara committees everywhere, making its enforcement in Kolhan a critical milestone.

This appeal is seen as a bold step toward reaffirming core Sikh values and addressing modern identity challenges in the community.
