🚨 Important Update from NCAHP – Terminology Shift in Healthcare Professions 🩺

The National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP), under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, has issued an official circular dated 01 July 2025, recommending the discontinuation of the term "Paramedical" across all forms of official usage.
🔁 The term "Allied and Healthcare" will now be the standard terminology, as per the NCAHP Act, 2021, Sections 2(b) to 2(f).
🏥 This decision ensures:
✅ Standardization of professional nomenclature
✅ Alignment with national legislation
✅ Respect and recognition for the vast and growing Allied & Healthcare workforce
📢 All State Governments, UTs, Institutions, Universities, and stakeholders are requested to comply and adopt the updated terminology immediately.
