The committee appointed as per the orders of the High Court has recommended this. A fine of Rs 120,000 per day for 1455 days will have to be paid for illegal construction in Bechar. Restoration work has to be carried out in the areas dug for the construction. An additional Rs 120,000 per day will have to be paid until they are completed. If the restoration is not done within three months, the fine will be doubled.
