Odia Asmitas Ananya Sraban in the birthplace of Swabhav Kabi Gangadhar Meher

On Sunday, ‘Sambad’ organized a program ‘ Odia Asmitas Ananya Sraban’ to celebrate the birth anniversary of Swabhav Kabi Gangadhar Meher. The birth anniversary of the poet was held at Gangadhar Kalyan Mandap in Barpali, Bargarh district. The chairman and managing director of ‘Sambad’ Group, Soumya Ranjan Pattnayak, presided over the program. The chief guest, Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Odisha Assembly, Prasanna Acharya, said that when there was a religious war in literature, the poet was born in the land of Barpali.
The main speaker was Dr., a researcher of Odia language, literature and culture. Krushnakeshba Sadangi participated and expressed his opinion that Gangadhar is a pure human being, free from all vices, greed, arrogance, and guilt. The program was moderated by Bargarh District Representative Biswajit Dash, while Gajendra Nath Mallick proposed the vote of thanks.
