A group discussion for Zonal Export Hub held at Malda

A Focus group discussion with the district stakeholders of Malda and Dakshin Dinajpur for Zonal Export Hub Action Plan was held On Wednesday at the Conference Hall of Khadi & Village Industries Board, Malda. It was organised by the Department of MSME & Textile, Government of West Bengal & the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Kolkata by the help of Rising and accelerating MSME Performance under World Bank Assisted scheme to support MSME. The meeting on this day was attended by Additional District Magistrate
(L & LR) Debahuti Indra, on behalf of the Malda District Administration, Prominent exporters of the Both Districts, District President of Malda Merchant Chamber of Commerce and Industries Ujjwal Saha, General Manager, District Industrial Centre,Malda, Manabendra Mandal along with General Manager, District Industrial Centre of Dakshin Dinajpur, and Export workers of Malda and Dakshin Dinajpur. The main reason of discussion on this day is how to increase exports from these two zones of Malda and Dakshin Dinajpur and to prepare various outlines including export zonal hubs.
