BRS intensifies attack on Telangana govt over Group-1 exam irregularities

Hyderabad: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has escalated its criticism of the Congress-led Telangana government following the High Court’s strong remarks on the irregularities in the Group-1 Main examination.

The party has demanded that the government immediately cancel the examination, withdraw Government Order (GO) 29, and drop all cases registered against the protesting job aspirants.

BRS leaders accused the ruling Congress of “failing to ensure transparency” in one of the most crucial recruitment exams in the state. They alleged that the government’s mishandling of the process has jeopardized the future of thousands of unemployed youth who aspired to secure government jobs through the examination.

“The High Court has clearly pointed out the lapses. Instead of targeting the students, the government must take accountability and protect their future,” a senior BRS leader said, urging the Chief Minister to intervene directly.

The issue has sparked widespread protests across Telangana, with aspirants demanding justice and opposition parties joining in to mount pressure on the government.
