World Pharmacist Day

The Manipur State Pharmacy Council (MSPC) is gearing up to celebrate the 25th anniversary of World Pharmacy Day in Imphal. According to MSPC President, the theme of this year's celebration is "Think Health, Think Pharmacies." To ensure a smooth celebration, the council has requested that no bandh or strike be called on the scheduled date .

The MSPC aims to create a platform to promote the idea of achieving a global pharmacy. This initiative is crucial, given the pharmaceutical industry's significance worldwide. As part of the celebration, various events and activities will be organized to highlight the importance of pharmacists in ensuring public health ².

World Pharmacy Day is celebrated annually on September 25 to recognize the vital role pharmacists play in strengthening health systems. The International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) leads the global celebration, which includes World Pharmacist Week from September 19 to 25 .
