Most Awaited, Anjuman-E-Islam Gadag-Betageri Elects New Committee After Years!

After years, the Anjuman-E-Islam Gadag-Betageri election was held on September 28, 2025 under the Karnataka State Board of Auqaf.
A total of 41 candidates contested, with 11 members elected to the Managing Committee.

The Inqilaab group secured 8 seats, while the Al Madina group won 3.

Winners include A.H. Bagewadi, A.R. Koppal, A.K. Mulla, Davalsab Malasamudra, and others.

Yusuf Dambal (1732 votes) and Mehboob Basha Gadad (1659 votes) gave a strong fight but missed victory.

Community leaders urged the new committee to ensure transparency, unity, and service.
