Paṇḍā Ji 🌟

Śrīvatsa Paṇḍā (1870–1943), remembered as the Vidyāsāgara of Utkal, stands as a beacon of courage, vision, and service. With unshaken resolve, he fought against caste discrimination, untouchability, child marriage, and blind social practices. He opened the doors of education, especially for women, and lit the path of equality and dignity in society.

As a true reformer, he donated his wealth, time, and energy to build schools, widows’ ashrams, libraries, and Arya Samaj institutions, leaving behind an enduring heritage of compassion and justice. His writings and activism inspired generations to embrace truth, courage, and social harmony.

On his 155th Jayantī, we bow in gratitude to a son of Odisha whose life reminds us that real service lies in transforming society through knowledge, sacrifice, and fearless reform.
