It was an honour to be a part of the launch ceremony of Zakaullah' s biography of Moulvi Samiullah .Not much is heard of him beyond his seminal role in the inauguration of Madrastul uloom in 1875.He was an illustrious associate of Sirsyed who supported and differed with equal vehemence.NCPUl did well to reprint zakaullah ' s little known book published in 1909.Khwaja Shahid Saheb was instrumental in organising the function .Noted scholar Khalil ur Rehaan,Dr Shams Iqbal,Najib Jung, Salman Khurshid, me and Dr Khwaja Shahid can be seen in the photograph.
