JD Degree Womens College celebrates the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

The birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, was celebrated at Jagabandhu Dash Degree Women's College under the chairmanship of the college's Principal, Padmini Dash. The founder of the college, Antarayami Panda, attended the management meeting of the Head of the Odia Department, Jatindra Kumar Sahu, as the chief guest. He expressed his views on the contribution of Mahatma Gandhi to the country in the freedom struggle and his philosophy of life. In the initial phase, floral garlands were placed on the photo of the Father of the Nation, along with the lighting of the lamp and the students sang welcome and closing songs. Political Science Lecturer Punam Sahu introduced the guest of honor while Professor Sasmita Meher proposed the vote of thanks. All the professors of the college including Nepal Vishal, Sashanka Shekhar Padhan, Sarthak Panigrahi Professor Pinki Barik, Jyoti Sahu, Shobhabati Thapa, Manisha Bhoi, Parineeta Padhan, Jagyaseni Patel, colleagues Birendra Khatua, Nrupraj Bariha, Tripura Behera were present on the occasion.
