Dargah, Aashoorkhana & Chilla Mubarak in Borabanda Face Demolition Threat under Revanth Reddy Govt

A sensitive issue has emerged in Borabanda Phase-III, Hyderabad, where the Dargah Hazrat Syed Lal Sha Baba, Aashoorkhana, and Chilla Mubarak Mahboob-e-Subhani, built on 160 sq. yards, are reportedly on the verge of demolition by HYDRA & GHMC authorities.

MBT Spokesman Amjed Ullah Khan visited the site and met with the committee members, who informed him that the High Court has already granted Status Quo on their petition. However, despite this, GHMC and HYDRA officials are allegedly pressuring them to vacate or face demolition.

Mr. Khan warned that targeting Muslim religious places could have serious repercussions for the Revanth Reddy-led Congress Government, especially after the recent demolitions of graveyard boundary walls, Dargahs, Chillas, and Aashoorkhanas in Kodangal (the CM’s own constituency).
