Some Villagers - Kisan left out of the Government provided Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana- Gramin (PMAY-G) Scheme at Pub- Silputa Dimasa's Village and Chauhan Basti unde Langfer MAC Constituency in Bakulia, Karbi Anglong District, Assam.

It is to be mentioned that, for the house Scheme- A Online process (Geo tagging) was conducted before six months house to house in the villages mentioned above. But after six months, when the list out - some who are really poor were left out of the PMAY-G Schemes. During the online process 200 to 500 were charged.

Some lady also mentioned about the orunodoi Scheme, where their names' were cut down recently, which they were receiving since the long, urge the government to again give them Orunodoi benefits.

Relating the issue, AIMA visited the homes of the villagers, who left out of the Schemes. The villagers stated, we are here since 50-60 years but till the date no houses granted in our names, one old lady said, I feel deep pain after knowing that my name is not in the list- having a dream of Pucca house will just now remain a dream. One Youth said " All Govt benefits are only for #Rich_people not for #poor_people. Instead of PMAY-G Houses we are getting forcefully installed Smart Meter. 4 years of JJM Schemes, got only Nal but No Jal till date. Now, no hope remains over the Government.

The Local MAC of Langfer MAC Constituency Shri Madhuram Lekthe should look into the matter and conduct a survey over the schemes and make them benefit who are in real need.
