Veteran Soldiers retirement welcome ceremony held

A grand welcome ceremony was held for retired veteran Soldiers Ganesh Sahu of Sikirdi village under Satalma Gram Panchayat of Bargarh district, Barpali block. Today, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of President Pradyumna Kumar Tripathi, Kisan Agrawal on behalf of Barpali Jagannath Nagar Durga Puja Committee. On this occasion President of Sikirdi Gramya Committee, Gatikrushna Tripathi, Secretary Mania Mirdha were present. Later, a grand procession left Barpali and went around the village of Sikirdi. On this occasion, the youth of the village took a bike procession and welcomed their village. The entire Sikirdi village was shaken by the sound of Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan, Bande Mataram, Bharat Mata ki Jai. Especially In every house in the village, people washed their feet with flowers and sandalwood. The villagers expressed their pride in this regards.
