Emotions Ran High Across Assam Roi Roi Binale

Emotions ran high across Assam as Roi Roi Binale (Tears Still Flow), the last film of beloved singer-composer Zubeen Garg — who passed away in Singapore last month — opened to packed theatres on Friday. Fans queued up from the early hours, with some even pouring milk on posters in tribute. The first show began at 4.25 a.m. in Guwahati, drawing huge crowds eager to see their favourite star one last time. In the film, Garg plays a blind musician and has composed all 11 songs himself. The Assam Cabinet recently announced that the State’s share of GST from the film will be handed over to his family.
