IED, Ammunition, and Drugs Recovered After Cross-Border Drone Drop in Poonch

Poonch, January 1: Security forces on Thursday recovered an improvised explosive device (IED), ammunition, and narcotics following a suspected cross-border drone drop in the Khari area of Poonch district.
According to official sources, a suspicious drone was observed hovering near the Khari area earlier in the day. Acting swiftly on the alert, security forces launched an extensive search operation in the area.
During the operation, an IED along with ammunition and drugs was recovered from the spot. A bomb disposal squad has been rushed to the location to safely neutralize the explosive device. Further investigation is underway.
