Nagji Patel’s “Still They Speak” Exhibition Opens at Akar Prakar, Kolkata

_January 12, 2026_ — The contemporary art space Akar Prakar in Kolkata unveiled the solo exhibition “Still They Speak” by renowned artist Nagji Patel on Monday, January 12, 2026. The showcase, curated by Siddhi Shailendra, will run from January 13 to February 14, 2026.

The exhibition features striking sculptural works that explore the dialogue between form and silence. The centerpiece, a textured grey stone sculpture displayed prominently in the promotional poster, exemplifies Patel’s ability to evoke voice and memory through abstract shapes.

A preview event was held on January 12 from 6–8 pm, offering visitors an exclusive glimpse of the artworks before the public opening. The exhibition is expected to draw art enthusiasts and critics eager to experience Patel’s contemplative creations.
