Mumbai Railway authority burst bangali baba recket

Railway authorities uncovered a ‘Fake Baba Bangali’ poster racket during a joint raid at Reay Road on February 17, 2026. Acting on inputs, a team from Central Railway (CR) and Western Railway (WR) raided Mira Ali Dargah in Darukhana and detained MD Nazir Andari, who was found with around 15,000 promotional posters meant for display on railway premises without permission. A case (CR No. 104/2026) has been registered under relevant sections, and further investigation is underway to identify others involved in printing and pasting the posters inside train coaches.
