Five from Rajouri, Poonch Killed in Kuwait Road Accident; One Critically Injured

Kuwait, Apr 9: In a tragic incident reported from Kuwait, five persons hailing from Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri and Poonch districts lost their lives after a devastating road accident that triggered a massive fire, officials and sources said.
According to preliminary information, the accident occurred when two vehicles collided head-on. Soon after the impact, one of the vehicles caught fire, which rapidly intensified, engulfing those inside before they could escape.
The blaze was reported to be extremely severe, resulting in the on-the-spot death of five individuals, while one person sustained critical injuries and is currently undergoing treatment.
Sources said that among the deceased, one person belonged to Thana Mandi area of Rajouri district, while four others were residents of Sarankot and Bachwali areas of Poonch district.
Authorities in Kuwait are said to be investigating the circumstances leading to the collision and subsequent fire. Further details, including the identification of the victims, are awaited.
Meanwhile, the news has sent shockwaves across the twin districts, with families and locals mourning the tragic loss of lives.
