Illegal liquor factory busted in Chaibasa, huge quantity of liquor seized
Chaibasa: The Excise Department has busted a mini factory manufacturing illegal English liquor in Chhota Koyta village, under the Tantnagar police station area of ​​West Singhbhum district. This action has caused a stir in the entire area.
Acting on a tip-off, the team raided a thatched house in a secluded area where illegal liquor was being manufactured and packaged. The operation was led by Sub-Inspector Nirbhay Kumar Sinha.
During the raid, approximately 153 liters of finished liquor, 17 cases of bottles, a large number of empty bottles, and counterfeit stickers of various brands were seized. It is reported that these liquor bottles were being sold in the market with fake labels.
This illegal trade not only resulted in revenue loss to the government but also posed a serious threat to public health.
