FIRE SERVICE OPENING CEREMONY OBSERVED AT NALCO REFINERY FIRE STATION DAMANJODI ON
On 14th April 2026, Damanjodi:-14/4 The Fire Service Week Opening Ceremony was solemnly observed at the NALCO Refinery Fire Station in which the Theme of
"Safe School, Safe Hospital & Fire Safety Aware society-Together for fire prevention. "The ceremony commenced with the laying of wreaths at the Martyrs’ Column as a mark of respect to the brave personnel who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty by CISF officials and Nalco Management officials.A two-minute silence was observed and heartfelt homage was paid to the firemen and others who lost their lives during fire incidents.During the ceremony, the Shri Satya Dev Arya, Senior Commandant of CISF Unit NALCO Damanjodi along with officials from the NALCO management, released a Fire Safety Booklet and pamphlets to promote awareness. Fire Wing personnel also displayed banners at prominent locations across Damanjodi to highlight fire safety measures and public awareness. CISF personnel also taking the oath towards preventing the fire and awareness among the local peoples. Shri Satya Dev Arya, Sr.Commandant, CISF Unit NALCO Damanjodi flag off for procession parade at CISF residence complex and Nalco Township regarding awareness of Fire Safety.On the opening ceremony of Fire Service week, Shri. Satya Dev Arya (Senior. Commandant), Shri. Narendra Singh (Dy. Commandant/Fire), Shri. Dilpreet Singh Cheema, (Deputy Commandant/Adm), Shri D. K. Dhir (AC/Exe), Shri. Saligram Upadhay GM (Safety), Reshmi Ranjan Sethi, AGM (Safety) along with CISF Fire and Security wing personnel were present/attended in the above ceremony.
