Marchants' Chamber of Commerce & Industry Kolkata Hosts Strategic Tax Seminar for MSMEs

Kolkata: The Marchants' Chamber of Commerce & Industry successfully hosted the Strategic Tax Seminar for MSMEs on 2 June 2026 at the Chamber's Conference Hall. The event gathered Chartered Accountants, policymakers, industry leaders, management professionals, and MSME entrepreneurs for a day of interaction, learning, and recognition.

The seminar was inaugurated by Shri Sanjib Kothari, Treasurer & Chairman of the Council on MSMEs, who also delivered the inaugural address following a ceremonial lamp lighting. Key technical sessions included theme addresses on the Ease of Doing Business and the GST Appellate Tribunal for MSMEs by CA Ishan Tulsian and CA Vivek Jalan, respectively. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Shri Akhil Sonthalia, Co-Chairman of the Council on MSMEs, marking a successful signature event of MCCI.
