Manipur Government Committed for Welfare, Better Living and Development: Chief Minister

Imphal. Chief Minister N. Biren Singh said that the government is putting in all its efforts for the welfare, better living and development of the State.

This was stated by him at the launching and distribution function of medicinal plants saplings to households and farmers under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav ‘Ayush Aapke Dwar’ held at Chief Minister’s Secretariat in Imphal Manipur today. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister Manipur applauded the priceless support and cooperation of the people to the government in the last four and half years.

Maintaining that bandhs, strikes and insurgency problems are a thing of the past, he added that the economy and law and order situation have been improved significantly in the State. He also stated that various welfare schemes and programs have been implemented for inclusive development and added that subsidized loans are being provided to entrepreneurs, unemployed youths for sustainable livelihood under Start-Up schemes and by banks.

On the occasion, N. Biren Singh distributed medicinal plant saplings to farmers and individuals. Minister for TA&H Vunzagin Valte, Advisor to CM (Health) Dr. Sapam Ranjan, Principal Secretary (Health) V. Vumlunmang, Director (Ayush) Dr. A. Guneshwor Sharma and others attended the program.
